Pull vs. Push. I couldn't agree more. Creating an experience or information of value to people - there's a lot more pressure to do that today than just distribute a message. It will take a different skillset than what most PR shops have grown over the past 20 years.
But we have a great opportunity to transform the public relations business. Until then, the social media "business" will go to those who have the talent in this space no matter what agency-type they come from.
